Welcome to FoodCourt. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FoodCourt, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FoodCourt. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • One account per person; do not create multiple accounts

4. Community Guidelines

FoodCourt is a community built on trust. By using the app, you agree to:

Honest Reviews

Rate dishes based on your genuine experience. Fake or misleading reviews harm the community and are prohibited.

Respectful Conduct

No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks. Treat other users with respect.

No Objectionable Content

Do not post offensive, vulgar, illegal, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content. This includes photos, review text, and usernames.

Report Violations

Help keep our community safe by reporting content that violates these guidelines.

5. Content You Post

  • You retain ownership of content you create (reviews, photos, notes)
  • By posting content, you grant FoodCourt a license to display it within the app
  • You are solely responsible for content you post
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings or game the system
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app’s operation
  • Violate any applicable laws

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these Terms
  • Issue warnings for guideline violations
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement

We review all reports within 24 hours.

8. Disclaimers

  • FoodCourt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reviews or restaurant information
  • We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any food or restaurant
  • Use your own judgment when making dining decisions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodCourt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
